I can't remember the rules - does that mean that Smile lied or simply left out the detail about the private doors?

Here is one more thing they are assuming is true but might not be: They are assuming that the colour of the door corresponds to the colour of the player. Smile has never stated anything of the sort. This could explain the Infinite/Bindy's door mixup - based on the colours, they think the wrong door was locked, but it's entirely possible the only mistake is in player assumptions.

Smile also stated that unless the right player uses the right card on the right door, both door and card will lock. If they cannot conclusively identify the doors, this could prove to be very costly indeed.

If I remember correctly they noticed and summarized that it was the animal that mattered, though they could still be wrong.

Honestly the game could pretty much be set up to be unwinnable and nobody would know considering the amount of bullshit obscure rules.

Only at certain points. The transfer room from Three's side was locked, but there are allegedly more points where doing so is possible.

Sort of yes, sort of no. Each player has 25 coins assigned to them, and taking somebody's coins will, on exiting the game, grant 4% of their bank account value per coin. But there is no way to transfer money between accounts directly mid-game, no.

The animal on the card, yes. They know that you can tell which card belongs to which player by that.

They still have no way of knowing which DOOR corresponds to which card. Colour match is the logical assumption, but hardly a guarantee in a death game slash magic experiment.
