Squashed like insects.

I almost feel guilty for throwing my weakest protagonist into an absolute nightmare.

almost.

He is also the laziest protaganist though...

*notices the first text in the text box for Ciel isn’t centered properly*

“Its fine, perfectly fiiiiiiine. It is hardly even an issue. I should not even say anything, they work hard on this and I get to read it for free. I dont have the right to complain about the quality”

“But… I took all of those college classes for a reason dammit.”

“And it would not even be the hard of a fix…”

To be fair, Noah did manage to move forward at a point when Burk may've been weak.

Even Ciel acknowledge Noah is useless but this look like a start of a pep talk. Hopefully this would turn Noah to be the anime protagonist he is meant to be.

30781: SFrip - Thursday, March 24 2022 - 1:56 AM

That's pretty clever, Ciel avoids telling Noah he's useful since she knows he'll challenge that statement and instead tells him he's 'the least useless he has ever been'.

30782: someone - Thursday, March 24 2022 - 1:57 AM

"You are now the least useless you have ever been."

Quality pep talk from Ciel!

Well, its sink or swim now! Finally, Noah gonna get his shit together

30784: Brilliand - Thursday, March 24 2022 - 2:05 AM

Makes me wonder how the other protagonists would deal with this nightmare if they were dropped into it.

30785: Paintr - Thursday, March 24 2022 - 2:14 AM

Aw she's being kinda nice...

30786: Joe - Thursday, March 24 2022 - 2:18 AM

Never change him

30787: Tom - Thursday, March 24 2022 - 5:29 AM

The Darkest Hour trope done RIGHT.

30788: Balmung - Thursday, March 24 2022 - 7:04 AM

@Brilliand: Makes me wonder how the other protagonists would deal with this nightmare if they were dropped into it.

Well, Burk would punch it

Also, I see Noah's being thrown into the Ciaphas Cain school of problem solving - as much as he'd like to run and hide, the scenario is such that the course of action with the best odds of survival is to confront the source of the problem head-on.

He IS learning, if only because the alternative is certain death.

30790: Abbie - Thursday, March 24 2022 - 10:09 AM

@Graphic Designer
I assumed Ceil's uncentered words were just a way of showing her disjointed accent there.

30791: Theo - Thursday, March 24 2022 - 10:32 AM

Honestly, this might be the one place Burk would get killed at. Timmy doesn’t seem to be someone that can be dealt with fisticuffs

30793: Maiker - Thursday, March 24 2022 - 8:24 PM

Ciel is gonna make Noah wish for something. My bet is Chernyl once wished to not have nightmares any more from similar magic chibi

30794: Sporf - Thursday, March 24 2022 - 11:19 PM

This is probably why people (myself included) get frustrated with Noah since we can't help but compare Noah with his far more competent counterparts. He's incredibly rude and often lazy, especially when compared to the generally personable and proactive Burk and Tobi. He's not really useless or incompetent but he's no where near the level of the other two.

30801: UnknownID - Friday, March 25 2022 - 4:59 AM

Being brave often isn't a good survival skill xD

30807: Eight - Friday, March 25 2022 - 11:57 AM

"He's incredibly rude and often lazy" Noah is neither, ever.
