Ciel overload

What fun.

skipping right to yelling very effectively, and showing that they can. GJ, Ciel.

"..." roughly translates to "oh he did NOT just ignore ME"

23000: ThePixelHelix - Saturday, August 1 2020 - 3:55 AM

Is... Isnt that what causes seizures?

23001: Tom - Saturday, August 1 2020 - 4:09 AM

She can do that? That's scary.

23003: UnknownID - Saturday, August 1 2020 - 4:24 AM

Maybe a little less overloading would have been enough, too. :D

Only if you have audio sensitive epilepsy. Also I think it has to be a certain pattern to trigger epilepsy not just yelling.

"It appears to have been successful." had me laughing out loud.

So... Ciel just became the equivalent to those intrusive thoughts that won't let you concentrate.

"It's time for some introspection whether you like it or no. No book, music or videogame is going to stop me, definitely not young man."

Not even constructs from Noah's own mind can get his attention.

Someone last page was asking for more engaging graphics... It appears to have been successful.

@ Tom: She has direct access to his brain. If she wanted to, she could make him see and hear whatever she wanted. The fact that she didn't just interrupt him by positioning herself, or even a miniature version of herself, between him and his book, tells that she has a desire to demand attention.

That said, if anyone tries to mentally manipulate Noah, Ciel can probably protect him from it.

Typo, they spelled successful wrong.

"Hey, listen!"

Do we know for certain ceil is actually Noah's power? I know he has the power to tap into magic enough to see and interact directly with it, but what if ceil is someone like him but who's stuck outside of their body or something?

23014: Darius Drake - Saturday, August 1 2020 - 9:03 PM

@ James Brokanon: We know that Ceil is, probably, a Guide that Noah asked for when "Magic/Something asked for what to give him". Everything else is up in the air. It's even possible that Noah's secretly a Free Magic User who has only learnt how to use magic like a Potential Magic User, and a single, non-magic-potential, trick.
