Considering Guy didn't even believe that Pablo was a real diplomat, I have SOME doubts about his detective "skills".

He said it wouldn't necessarily benefit him if they were good detectives, but it's unclear what that actually means. We don't know if he's against them, or if he just wants them to need his help.
I really can't wait to see just what Burk's on to. He's shown himself to be very intelligent in the past, so I highly doubt he's off on a wild goose chase. Even if it's not directly related to the case at hand, it could still give them some useful leads.
