...so he's either genre-savvy enough to know the world is functionally in 2D, or he's stupid enough not to have put any thought into it, or it's common knowledge.
also, he has hammerspace; that jar has to be between a third and a fourth of his volume, and bigger than his backpack. or maybe he hides stuff behind his own sprite on some sort of harness attached to his hat.
and he may have forgotten how he's surrounded.
does he have one-liners for every diplomatic weapon?

1.Technically they're in a narrow alleyway, but I haven't found a way to properly portray that without covering up all the sprites and making you guys unable to see what's going on. :p
2. I like portraying items as slightly larger than they probably should be.
3. He probably does have one-liners for every weapon, but doesn't always use em.

The trick is to sprint past the marbles and charge at him with a massive slash attack. It's hard to slip when you're going a short distance quickly.
I'm really having a great time trying to determine Pablo's voice in my head.
