Noah's power.
Hey a straight answer from Ciel.
Well y'know what they say.
An annoying clock, etc, etc.
Hey a straight answer from Ciel.
Well y'know what they say.
An annoying clock, etc, etc.
I thought it was a broken clock?
Wow... That all makes sense now. The younger elf was the one older one's past self.
so when noah was in the burning forest land, he actually was walking in the elf's mind?
Does Ciel look broken to you, Rob?
@Pirate Rob
Yes, but Ciel isn't broken just annoying :p
Well that power sounds cool...
But it's not laser beams.
Ok, so... Noah was inside the elf's mind? This... actually makes sense, in retrospect. But what does Ciel has to do with it all? And WHO (or what) /is/ Ciel?
WOW, THAT IS DIFFERENT THAT IT WAS IN APTTGG.
Psychonaut ?
ooooh, finally some answers ! me likey !
Also, does that mean that detlef is actually a pretty chill dude in general even if he hates the empire ? cause he's being pretty nice to noah when noah (unknowingly) invaded his mind
@Silly Name
I guess Ciel is the manual Noah was asking for in his previous chapter.
So if the falsehood is unknown to Noah, she can willingly tell him it, right?
if we assume ciel is a representacion of noah's conscience reading is mind and whatnot we can probable assume only noah can see her (interact with her) theres realy no reason for her to lie.
I like the ~ Ciel makes every once in a while. It changes how I read the things she says completely lol
*Knowing Noahs power makes me theorize way too much stuff intensifies*
But if Ciel is the manual, or a representation of Noah's mind... why is she so unhelpful? She seems to be trying her best to not actually tell Noah anything, instead having him figure stuff on his own. Unless she is feeling helpful and tells him stuff he still hasn't figured out, which means she CAN'T be only a figment of his mind. But then again she appears to know only as much stuff as Noah does, which does implies she is part of his mind. So... ARGH! CURSE YOU, NEO, AND YOUR ABILITY AT MAKING GREAT MYSTERIES!
of course
So the next question is how can he tell whose mind he entered, and can he actually choose to enter someone's mind.
@silly name
Helpfull? If we go check im pretty sure Ciel answered every question noah asked we can even tink that ciel dosent know more tham noah if she only as acess to noah´s knowlage she only awnsers things that noah could eventualy realize himself if he rationalize it
@whitemanPT: Yeah, but in order to get Ciel to answer, Noah has to go through her snark, vague answers and arbitrary rules (answers only yes or no questions). Even if we go by the assumption that she is really a projection of Noah's subconscious, and this is really an "imaginary friend" of sorts which Noah uses to reflect and rationalize, she is weirdly antagonistic.
@Silly Name
Could be because that's what Noah's subconscious is like. Smug, snarky, and likes lording her intelligence over others. Reminds me a lot of the Noah from aPTGG, really. I found it odd how different his personality seemed here; could be he's repressing that side of himself, and Ciel is the manifestation of that.
Ciel makes me think of old Noah. I miss old Noah alittle, that smug, aloof, punchable brat.
Guuuuuyyyys, I think that I have the reason Ciel is a projection of his own mind figured out.
When Ciel said, "You can force your way into [...] a person's current state of mind," she was speaking from his memories and experiences, correct?
NOAH has forced his way into a magical representation of HIS OWN mind!
