Theory:
Noah is currently in elf land, and it turns out elf land is ethereal or on a magical plane or something like that. The "guards" is the empire Noah is currently living in trying to invade elf land (they would probably be the marines that were mentioned before).
If you ask me this seems a bit.. Shippy.

I think I like Ravs theory, it explains things pretty well. Also, it fits in with the veda (I think thats what it's called?) project, where they hire magic users (aka, the marines we see here) to fight the elves.
Technically it doesn't explain why the guards are speaking Hardtoreadese or why they think Noah's an elf.
Or why their armour's empty.
Day counter seems broken? It says this comic was from Tuesday 13th of jan, and the day before from Wednesday 14th of jan..
I wonder if they include
Noah and Mable. :~P
