I am particularly fond of this arc because it really showcases your magic system quite nicely. I am looking forward to more displays of magical ability and more explanations of your system. ^_^

Also as a small note, it would appear that Detlef's left ear has returned. Possibly from inherent regeneration, or that he is distracted and his literal self-image in his pocket-dimension is intact because of his euphoria in combat.
