Huh, I though that magic users where mostly specialized in certain spells/types, as it seemed(!) to be in APtGG.
Apparently I was wrong!

@Neo
How does magic work for Elves? Can they just do whatever, or are they restricted to their element (plants)?

@Tom/Re_curly
Every type of magic has limits and rules, but there's a few different "families" (as you guys are just figuring out.) that essentially adhere to different rules.

Noah is like "this comic takes too long. I'm just gonna take a nap till my existence is apparent." Also Elf #2 is turning out to be really OP getting kind if worried.

I really like your magic system Neorice.
It's flexible, has room for the creation of spells, and possesses nice underlying themes for structure (e.g. the manipulation of plants for "Elves," wind spells for Logan Alexander, and the numerous examples of spellcasting in APTGG.)
When there is a tabletop roleplaying system developed for this, or even a videogame, let me know so that I can faithfully jump aboard the bandwagon that explores HoH's universe further. ;~D

@2ndShade
To be fair, Elf #1 would've been equally OP without a bullet in his head. :p
@VIII Strength
Thank you! As a biology student I have a certain fondness for solid structures and taxonomies. :)
... As an author I have a love for messing with people's expectations and minds though. >:)

what really amazes me is that apparently, royal guards are just *trained* to the extreme to be able to match this magical shenanigans without any external help. its kind of amazing

Many interesting theory's to this scene, im starting to think that Nail is alot more important then we think he is. perhaps he is the emperor. which is why he was so reluctant to reveal his identity.
