Honestly, Shalhia, loathe though I am to concede it, Maria has a point: Even if she is one of the hosts of this game, if she cannot get in touch with any of her co-hosts, then how is she supposed to be able to call off the game? And, perhaps more pertinently, would the other hosts even listen to her if she tried to prematurely end their experiment here?

I'm thinking Levin is an esper. A spirit seems to be able to hide from the SIGHT if they want to (Burk spirits do that all the time)
At the trivia game, it feels like he is... talking with a spirit (if he is not acting it out)

Every page, Shalhia is becoming one of my favorite characters - if not the most.
And yes, fuck Levin. But it's such a hateful character - one that we love to hate - that show how well done is told the story and the characters.

@Tom: Apart from eavesdropping on Maria attempting to contact people, Maria is one of the most suspicious participants. She doesn't have a stated reason to be in the game like Tobi or Heusten, and she doesn't seem to be the typical contestant of a death game like Levin or Jay-Jay.
All the while, while being ostensibly a normal civilian, she has shown a certain enthusiasm about getting the "experiment" to work, such as when she wanted to hide the other team's egg. A normal person would react very differently than she did to certain scenarios.
I appreciate Shalhia's rare curse usage to emphasize just how badly she wants everyone out of this already horrible game gone nightmarishly wrong.
Now that said, this is deeply troubling and I wonder how involved Maria was in this game's setup and how much she actually knows. I doubt it's much, but if she even has a hint of knowledge of any secrets of the game, that would prove invaluable for saving as many people as possible.
