@Eight I didn't even see the text at first but I thin you're right.
It would be pretty funny if everytime anyone enters this type of room the shot the door and then throw a bunch of dynamits in to blow up someone even if they all do it for different reasons.

Maybe Tobi is her reality's equivalent of a chosen ghoul king and the current reality already has one, but her presence interferes with such authority in some manner.

Whatever this is, it seems loyal to Vallance. That doesn't sound like the attitude of a normal spirit or ghoul, but who knows?
The black water is tied to the black crystal, right? If it's some sort of spirit antithesis...

From what I remember,tobi was absolutely in a simulation. Like I maybe am misremembering something but I don't see how it could be not a simulation.
