I'm not so sure of that. Assuming the language being used here is still the same, I think they can be reasonably assumed to be friends-ish now, she wouldn't kill Tobi for petty reasons. strawberry alarm clock is wrong.
...again, if "king" still means Tobi.

C'mon, Three. Fox did fuck up earlier but she's been getting better and her promise to Bindy shows that. Don't abandon her to the Ghoul.

...ok?
45600: Tom - Friday, January 24 2025 - 6:36 AM
So a truce of "I let you go, you let me go"?
45601: Flairina - Friday, January 24 2025 - 6:42 AM
Just gonna put this here for my own future reference.
Waiting (Possible) Chekov's Guns:
-Rauel Puzzle box (currently in Levin's possession)
-Missing meds (Presumably Foxy's, possibly HRT, if she even needs that what with the shapeshifting? Currently in Levin's possession)
-Bag of fixed Magilante tech (taken from Tobi at the start of the game)
-TV in main room (no casettes seen/found/used on screen yet)
-Remaining items from vaults
-Green doors to left of hub room
-Cop's black water coated shoe
Lingering Questions:
-Which player is the host? Does that mean they're actually hosting the game, or is it just their "role"?
-Who entered the game under false pretenses/that got info from an employee ahead of time? *Seems* to be Jay/Yellow, but are we sure...?
-Who is the black crystal smuggler that the cop/Harris looking for?
-What is Levin's strange not-magic power that Jay-Jay mentioned?
-Who killed Infinite? (Someone with a gun, who knew or worked out the color floor rule, and escaped unseen, but not Levin. Only other characters known to have a gun at present are the cop and Bindy)
-What's with Bindy's exit door being blocked off?
-Why was the host lady that Infinighoul killed in the maze in the first place?
-What's the "greateth obstacle" Infinighoul must face?
-Why DID Infinite become a ghoul so quickly? Tobi's presence (most likely)? The experiment? Unknown confluence of factors?
-What's with the visions Shalhia and Foxy experienced of their future/deaths? Infinighoul implies it means they're being hunted by "The Other"...?
-What's the actual purpose of the experiment? (To speed ghoul creation? Doubtful, but if not, why is at least one magic user necessary? Future visions could imply the point may be to create people who can see the future? What was the point of everything prior to the maze in that case though? Harris implied this is likely an antimagic experiment, and Ezra definitely knows, but hasn't said yet.)
-Why did the experiment require a magic user? For ghouls to be born?

It's understandable the ghoul wants Foxy out of picture. But he was willing to kill Three, knowing that Three is basically a bodyguard to Tobi?
Or maybe he doesn't consider Three's abilities to be enough to warrant immunity (frankly, Three is a kind of too pacifistic to be a good bodyguard).
45603: Otter Claw - Friday, January 24 2025 - 10:25 AM
So are we to take that the "other" is our friendly golem weapon, or is this ghoul speaking about another other?
Such intrigue!
Also I have a pretty clear idea that the little king is Tobi from a conversation before, but we'll be seeing soon enough I imagine.

@Flairina as of page 1933, the puzzle box is in Jay-jays possession, presumably as part of some truce deal with a Levin who didn't know if his gun was loaded or not.

"The Other" probably is Xalclock being vague about Mr Vallance SS. The Other started being brought up
after hearing Foxy would die in a way consistent with Black Water, and we know Mr SS is in possession of some. Also that he wants one specific unknown participant dead.
Also, Page 2300, he may not be a normal human. He expressed surprise that Three would save him after commenting that golems don't hurt normal humans. He may well be a ghoul or some other weird creature. His shoe may not be as waterproof as he claims. "Three smells shenanigans", as 2308's aithor comment says.

@MountainEucalyptus I think it's more likely that Houston is a pawn for this "other."
Given all the mentions of "kings" and the "throne" Zalander was probably talking about on page 3791, I'm guessing the "other" is some alternative monarch, someone the ghouls see as a false ruler.
We also know that the Blackwater King previously ruled Vallance, and that a ghoul was involved in his birth. We don't know how the current queen took his place, but it's possible the ghouls see her as an usurper. And Houston is openly doing her will.

Ghouls are truly gamers huh

@MountainEucalyptus Good point; I'd totally missed that on multiple rereads.
Regarding Harris, I see the argument for him not being human, and don't disagree it has merit, but I'm not sure him being surprised Three rescued him works in that regard. To me it read more that he was surprised Three took active action to help, which clearly isn't an expected feature of less smart golems. If Harris *was* surprised in the manner you're suggesting, I also don't see why he'd mention it aloud after his previous remark, which was also out loud. Still, I'll keep it in the back of my mind.
