Looks like the last time we saw Sherman was on page 2356... except, his eyes weren't red then.

So, I disagree with Sherman's story of what happened. It looks to me like his eyes faded out while walking through the sewer, and he vanished shortly after.

He might have been one of the other two guards that disappeared almost immediately after they set out. There were three guards on page 2164, but I think after that only one guard is ever seen. Also, the guard might mean that he got lost in the regular purple-ish fog that is in the foreground all the time when they were in nightmare Haven, not the other dimension fog.

Wasn't it mentioned that some of people effected by the creepy eye dude still were capable of operating even after cher woke up the time before?

@someone I thought for sure that Ciel stopped hiding Noah's reflections when she became able to appear to him in the open air.

The eye minions operate after the nightmare is gone because they were real people mutated by the nightmares, they're persistent because they're not a product of Chernyl's power, but a result of it.

Purple fog is different from Pink fog, the Guardsman was wondering around in something else.
