EDDSTADT: END
And with that our heroes leave Eddstadt behind!
This event shall henceforth be known by the name -
And with that our heroes leave Eddstadt behind!

I feel like we only got to see about half of the Eddstadt Incident. The other half, for obvious reasons, would be the ongoing effects of the Ghoul attacking the Hero Association, and the Hero's fighting each other over whether or not the Director's manage to stay in power or not.
Well, that's quite the short name for it.
- was quite the fustercluck, though.
It's been a good 5 years of this arc, excited to see the next one >:)
BURKDOCK SAINTS: EDDSTADT RUMBLE
Don't they need to prove the execs were doing something bad? Just leaving doesn't help the heroes that came to their aid unless Nightshade does something.
A Contract of Convenience, Chapter One (the start of a fifty-two chapter romantic epic; this is just the setup for introducing Evyle, the first of the two main leads).
@Sporf
Piper went to report their findings to the Iron Judge by the long range communications system in her uncle's castle.
Though we haven't seen what happened between fighting her uncle and returning to join the rest of the team in their fight in Eddstadt (other than the flashback showing the place in flames and the uncle tied up outside), it is probably safe to assume that she did report back successfully, unless a later flashback tells shows us that she did not.
If I had seen the last panel a year ago, I wouldn't have believed it was real.
It's amazing.
@Sporf it is probable that they don’t need to do anything more. Piper signalled her family (including the Iron Judge), so he may well be on his way. After everything that happened, the corrupt execs can't hide from him any more.
It would make the Judge's job easier if they stuck around, though.
Wait, why are we going to Livarall again?
A wizard, a girl, a cool guy, a burk and guy robot walk into a country.
Chaos follows.
@noname - At a guess, to reach friendly territory, and maybe to reload on mechanical goodies.
@noname to follow the the two magic users who killed Ludvig and stole the iron judges’s amulet. After turning the pirate lady into gold, one of them mentioned livarall as they left
@noname to let Pablo report on his mission to his superiors, and to pursue the man with the golden touch who stole one of the Mage Baron's amulets in the previous arc.
The Great Paint Escape finally reaches its end what now for our merry band of not-terrorists we shall await with baited breath!
So how do you think they worked the Ghoul into the "Hero Cat Fight" explanation that Tobi saw?
@MountainEucalyptus I hope that's enough.
@noname Because the next mystery is those two magic criminals from Liverall that took the judge's amulet. (The guy that turns people to gold and the 'maybe ghoul' that doesn't seem crazy.
Deaths this arc:
Vonesperda, Morty's face, Sky-Stroke's hopes of having children, Illuani the Hatter, Zardal (assuming that's how Evyle freed him), some number of tower guards.
Deaths still to come:
Some number of heroes, some number of executives, Zardal.
It's entirely possible that they just swing by Judge's place on their way. Would be funny if Judge immediately tries to arrest Guy.
@Violet
Easy enough: Sky-Stroke said that this was supposedly a hero exercise that got interrupted by "actual bad guys" - presumably the ghoul is one of those.
I love that this community is so ready and willing to give reminders for events that happened so long ago that all we who lack long-term memory would basically be lost without the reminders. ^^
Thank you for the reminders, guys and gals and non-binary pals~♥
A round of applause. This was a very satisfying end for the Eddstadt arc - most of all, I'm really happy that Evyle actually joined Burk's team. She's been a delight to watch so far and I'm looking forward to the dynamic between her and the rest of the group!
