With a bang.
Oh you humans, you never listen ...
Then again, it's not like you're tuned in to the show. So all is forgiven.

"..and that's the story of how Valiant lost his leg."
Yeah, if only these four had been able to hear Zalander. Then all of this could have been avoided!
Surely he has their best interests in mind. He's a friend of humanity, after all.
Oh, is this commentary coming from the ghoul who gave that special announcement about The Omens? That's cool.
The "BLAM!" sounds painful.
Okay plus points no blood or body parts flying through the air. That could because he's turned into a smoking pile of ash but gotta look on the bright side!
I have no idea if that killed him or not.
No really, in so many stories there's some elements you can you look at to say "Oh yeah he's dead" or "No way he'll survive somehow". But Valiant is right in that sweet spot where his survival is truly up in the air.
At least Zalander is forgiving.
I wonder if Valiant will be available to tell them about out of body experience.
COOL!
@Ghost
Always look on the bright side of death?
Looks like he should have used the otherwise quite well proven stick-technolgy that regular humans use a lot.
You know, somehow, the question "What would Zelmeyer do?" probably does NOT have this as an answer...
@Paintr
It's an actual trope. No guaranteed death unless you see the corpse, and depending on setting, that may not stick.
