Since Noel came back the same way he came out, the space in this demiplane is probably not looped. I think it's just warped, with every passage leading to a single point. There's certainly some unpleasantness in every direction, but I don't think the only choice is which one of them the party will face.
Or maybe they will get split and face every obstacle, like the typical rpg party they are.

The 3 signals feel weaker *after* they entered the room, when before the single signal felt stronger? Oh no...
