guess that was a nightmare partly inspired by the other magic kids from their group, with the rest being nihilistic/intrusive thoughts? except I don't remember if any of malhart's kids had time powers
either way, that thing had ridiculous range and stamina compared to most of the other nightmares so far

My guess is that thing is Chernyl's equivalent of 'Ciel'. The actual spirit of pandemonium that grants her power, paying a visit in person.

I think The Grey Child is a powerful Spirit, Ghoul, or in the same class of beings as the blue bull dude from Burk’s story. He gave noah the same kind of vague big picture talk as Tobi has been getting from Ghouls and Spirits. That second wish might be -cataclysmic- in nature.

I don't like the thought that people are getting actual info important to understanding how things work out of the patreon comics. I don't have the kind of money to spend on foolish things like this. I think I would have rather gone without seeing this be the case.

Nothing in the patreon story is essential for understanding the main story. It mostly contains some extra world building & stories around side-characters.

No, that isn't anything particularly important. There isn't an explanation into how slowing time works other than "magic" and "it's not easy to do".
You could have guessed what I just said from what the Grey Child told Noah and the reactions of Noel and Gazz.
The Patreon is 1 dollar a month at the lowest, and I don't think it is foolish to support a content creator at all. Just go buy a coffee.
