Big assumption that such creature relies on its eyes to detect humans. Hope Noel is not wrong here.

Isn't that slime highly corrosive? Boneguy went right through a wall.

@Straightbackward
Sorry if it wasn't exactly clear but that's a regular doorway, the skeleton just covered it in corrosive gunk when he came in. Which means Noel/Noah couldn't use the same doorway back out.

Noel is a dashing young lad indeed
33325: Brilliand - Wednesday, September 7 2022 - 4:04 AM
When Noel commented on the gunk only corroding flesh, I thought that meant that he was going to wrap himself in something to safely pass through the doorway.

Ah, the skyrim method. Well tested and proven. Good thinking.

@Straightbackward check 2 pages before when Noel observes no corrosion at the door and concludes it only corrodes flesh. He was gathering intel for his next actions.

Now for his final trick...

Noel is familiar with the bucket exploit from Skyrim.

You're supposed to use a bucket, Noel!

@Straightbackward the goo is also only organically corrosive. it harms flesh (and likely organic material in general) but not artifical stuff

Thank you, everyone.
It seems I missed a pair of pages, where Noel pushes the crate to see if slime is corrosive only to flesh, everything clear now.
Alas! Yet another clothing element perishes in combat. Cloak, you will dearly be remembered
