I'll admit to being more interested in the ignition ability itself. A shaped charge-like directional explosive seems quite powerful, especially given the distance from which the Infinighoul was from the blast zone. Even the damage to the train shows it had minimal casting out as only the ground otherwise was damaged.

Seems like ghouls might be pandemonium spirits and they use the world as a game it seems

@ Tom: There were 3 of those little flesh balls on the wood before the "Bam" and 2 afterwards, with a massive crack in the wood. I'm thinking that the balls basically work as directional bombs, and the "bam" was one exploding to take off Ghoul-Infinite's head.
