Adell on a mission #4

Another day, another page.

Feel free to discuss or provide c&c; As always, keep it polite.

Votes are much appreciated as always, although we started in the middle of the month we're already below 200, I think that next month (in 6 days) we'll be able to really get a high position as the monthly votes restart.

Either way, enjoy the read and until next time.

But which door is it?! Tun tun tuuuun

1551: Neoriceisgood - Thursday, August 26 2010 - 8:35 PM

The bland one. Tun tun ...tun.

I think white frames don't fit a dark dungeon at night scene.

Aw, cool-looking prisoner is gone! I hope we see more of him. He's like this comic's Kimbley :3

Freakish doors: I like. Why would Ramien need a simple door, though? And what's with the fire in front of one door? Is there a water elemental trapped in there?

Bottom line is, can't wait for Ramien Coldhenge's appearance.

@Tom:

As the prisoner said; The big question isn't why Ramien needs a simple door, but why the others need the complex ones.

The others need complex ones because they spend all day bashing against it or throwing their flammable things out of it. Ramien is more polite.

Alrigh' let's see...guesses for possible occupants.

Iron maiden door (Far left): Some style of heavy juggernaut, good at applying pressure and continuing doing so for days, maybe weeks on end. Possibly same basic shape as white night.

Chain Door (Right, not far right): Good at applying immediate force in a burst, that style of door isn't meant to stay closed forever, however, so my best guess is that he's got less overall endurance then the guy on the left, but he's got more pushing power, otherwise he'd just be a repeat of the guy on the left.

Far Right door: Two possibilities, either he hates fire, and they figured they'd save on the cost of getting twice, maybe three times as much of the wood, or, the opposite, he loves fire, and he is in some way capable of conjuring/making it, and that is his only advantage, however, in either case, the cell must be a high-temp melt style.

Sorry for double post, I just noticed the prisoner stole a key from her in the second panel :D He'll be showing up again soon!

1558: Tulio_d_Bard - Friday, August 27 2010 - 6:36 AM

That guy took a key from Adell!

@Neoriceisgood

"It's not that Ramien needs special care for his doors..."

Shouldn't it be "door", singular?

1559: Neoriceisgood - Friday, August 27 2010 - 6:39 AM

@Tulio_d_Bard

Probably, will fix later.

Glad this is up and rolling again! I actually really like the white panels, but it might blend oddly when they go to a snowy, icy, or otherwise white place. Still, that problem can be addressed then; this isn't a comic geared towards keeping consistency with these sorts of things.

On a different note, the copyright at the bottom still reads "2009"...

New art and dynamic panels make me squee! Glad to see this comic back in action!

Hum, i like that little "ooh" he does. The font fits quite well, in a bright, pixelated way. :)

Have we seen or heard Ramien Coldhenge before? I hear echoes in my memory when i say the name.
