Um! I don't think the clouds suit the pixely style very well. Uh, maybe make a little picture-frame style (maybe like the previous/next arrows) border to use around each frame. You could just reuse it etc etc.

I do like the new balloons, actually! And the new panels as well! So keep it up and all.

Yaaaay more new characters! One of the many things I love about this comic is how everybody's so rich and detailed, from the main characters to the NPCs.

I like the new balloons, but I think it should only be used as an effect; it makes it look like a dream, or thought or something.

I'm loving the new look for the comic, I'd be really happy to see it stay looking like this.

As for the writing, isn't it interesting that Adell seems scared, even before she's tied up. It makes me think that she's not a master criminal, at all.
Her story is interesting too, which makes me wonder if she could either become a major character in her own right, perhaps getting a button on the site and a story arc of her own, or if she's the girl who's meant to join Burk's heroic team.

I'm not sure about the scraggy frames. They look like paper, which clashes with the pixelated style.

Could you be more specific about your definition of "sprite sheets"? You mean if I save all the sprites I make for characters?

I have a new favorite character. :) can't wait to know more about him.

Lovin' it, Neorice, please keep it up. The updated sprites, the new style, and now the prisoner with the awesome hairdo who's strangling Adell... can there possibly be more awesomeness in store for us?

My previous favorite was Mr. Sunny, but this guy is way more interesting, just in the looks and the fact that he is in prison, is part of the "rebels" and has a creepy fetish for the word "girl".

I agree with Captain Justice and Penguin about the balloons, it doesn't fit the style very well and it could make "voice effects" difficult to show.

I seem to be starting some kind of rebellion. D:

@Cap'n Justice: Better not start a big one, I don't want to experience that mess with the chibi-page again, 'specially cause I kinda like this myself.

On that note; I did fix the page up just now, made the borders a lot more sleak as I accidentally made em too thick, I think I like how it looks now.

Hmyeah, the cloudy bubbles aren't really befitting for the comic.

Personally i'm thinking that you should go with pixelated bubbles and straight up oldschool font. (blocky and all)

Yea, sorry, Do you store you characters on sprite sheets once you've drawn them, or do you just draw the character over and over?

tl;dr version as I don't want to type it all again:
1. I've polled/attempted several times to go for a more pixelated font or type of wordbubble and every single time the majority seems against it, I agree that on the surface it seems like it'd fit best, but in actuality it bothers a lot of people, apparently.

2.the cloudy worldbubbles I'll probably change as they're not "what I want" yet, I might just use the round ones again; but I do love the white I have to seperate the panels now (if the reuploaded page shows for you at least, if the doors have chains you got the proper version of the page showing);

I've had a lot of problems with the black outlines merging panels too much and know from experimenting that stark white just looks awful, so this is a solution I'm personally satisfied with for now.

I technically store em on a spritesheet; but because I've redone them so often each full spritesheet I have is outdated; Right now most characters aside from Adell just have one pose.

Their spritesheets generally keep expanding until I get to a point where I redo the sprites again.

Yeah it's fine, I'm pretty satisfied with what I have right now though; each style/change has it's own advantages and disadvantages, I just try to go for what works best for me.
