To be fair, separate payment kinda destroys the point of self-replication for a recruiter... if you are going to pay everyone the same you might as well recruit as many people without self-replication powers. Although I suppose there would still be advantages in reduced transportation cost and instant debriefing

I'd also say equal pay for spirit clones. All of them will equally get paid nothing whatsoever, only the original gets paid.
