@mrlollige: He probably towed it behind him with that rope while he swam under the water and then tied it to something so it wouldn't float away.

Oh, another tip: In traditional comics, black lines or dots are drawn around the objects we should look at. I don't know how to explain this very well, but you probably understand what I mean.
Anyway, you should think of some way to do that in a pixel comic too, so you could make it much more obvious that Burks pants are missing. Maybe even outline them brightly.
