Urgh, so it's basically a reality-competition show? Like Survivor, or Big Brother? Great, it's not like those shows systematically ruined the very concept of solidarity. =__=

@Noname: You didn't realise that the entire game was rigged to be like Survivor or Big Brother Reality TV originally? Really? It seemed obvious to me, though it could just be that I don't pay any more than the scantest attention to those shows, and thus the peripheral knowledge I have lined up perfectly with the setup. Honestly, the only difference is that this is a death game, and our Betrayal Reality TV Shows isn't.

Well, of course that won't happen, but it's a nice thought.
I only hope levin won't go through a "redemption arc" to show that very very deep he is almost similar to a decent person. Suspension of disbelief has its limits

@Darius: Yeah, well, I've tried to stay away from such shows as well, but it wasn't until Maria here basically said outright that this was a glorified Big Brother show that the pieces finally fell into place and I recognized the hallmarks of the show formula... hell, now that I think about it, the characters are basically Big Brother archetypes: You've got the religious, holier-than-thou pundit; the insufferable asshole; the guy with a criminal record; the dude who's obviously a plant by the show host to stir up drama aaand the kind, decent person who you're rooting for but who's basically thrown to the wolves, etc...

Well i always though this was formed more like some sort of sociological experiment.

It's like Maria says... this is Lorg. That's pretty much all these guys do.
Of course, reality shows normally don't contain invincible murder machines or Paladins that don't give a crap about the game beyond how it affects their own goals.
