Was halfway through writing a comment about how "man what is with Ciel and Noah using spirit", when I realised Ciel is probably pronounced the same as Seal. As in "lock" rather than "aquatic mammal". Well, they're both pronounced the same but the first one is more appropriate here.
I wonder if that's some foreshadowing there.

I personally think that because of her "AI assistant" vibe, the name is actually an abbreviation — CL. Or SL. No idea what it stands for, though.

Remember, when Ciel told Noah to name her and Noah refused, she picked that name stating that its what Noah wouldve picked anyway. I think it's just a name Noah thinks is pretty. Ciel isn't a distinct entity, she's just a fragment of Noah's own mind.
