I was concerned the kids going to wake up somehow for the sole reason that "things were going too smoothly". Now, it turned out not to be a fakeout, but... well, we're seeing things start to go wrong now.

I remember Toby getting some Pendant with a Black Crystal during that Death Run TV Show. To supress any kind of Magic. They probably gave the kids little shards of them in the pills.

@Zed Yeah, I don't think gold negates magic around it - it just blocks its path and/or cuts through it. Black crystal is the upgraded version that actually negates nearby magic.
