"I don't think regular guards transport prisoners in bags, that's just us."
Hell of a line. Got a couple of disapproving looks from the office whilst chuckling after that one.

Not too long ago, Noah just laid on a field, just letting the ball hit him as he was too apathetic to do anything. Except, well, wishing that he wasn't there so hard that it literally warped reality (giving him his stealth abilities).
But now Noah's about to be chained up and dragged into a military base by a fratricidal maniac and a drunken wannabe-stripper, and he's kinda hanging in there! He's even able to appreciate the little things, like not being thrown into a bag or whatever that stripper plan was!

i do hope they change out of their fancy cloaks. i don't think regular guards can afford those gold embroideries.

There is seldom any preserved dignity or self-respect to be found at the other end of plans that involve dressing up as strippers... Like, even if you do a good job and pull of your role as a stripper flawlessly, there's still the fact that you pulled off your role as a stripper flawlessly... it can make it kinda rough to give yourself a pat on the back afterwards -- no double entrende intended.

@noname What's so undignified about being a stripper? I mean yes, it does multiply the loss of dignity inherent in being forced to do something you don't like, but if you indeed pull of the stripper role flawlessly, you can at least reliably tell that you can be attractive! Noah wouldn't want any of that, tho.

I like how you can't really tell if the bag thing is a dystopic secret police sort of habit; or an insane maladjusted idiot sort of habit.
It could be because they're the terrifying evil empire. Likewise it could also be because they're the honestly kinda ditzy evil empire.

@SilentWrangler I'm fairly certain that "you can at least reliably tell that you can be attractive" doesn't really have anything to do with the fact that a stripper's "job" is undignified... Not to mention the fact that, like most "jobs" that involve such degredation, a non-negligable amount of clients' "enjoyment" is derived from the subjugation of other living beings and the power they get over them and their bodies... Ergo, nnnah, you cannot really reliably tell yourself that you can be attractive either... unless you with "attractive" mean that you can attract people who get off on degrading you by denying you your dignity... which is... not really encouraging...
