Probably not a great idea to tell the person who seems to be trying to trick you that you know that they're trying to trick you.
Makes them desperate

So which is worse: Kidnapping and replacement by an imposter, or outright possession?

Guys, I think thereā€™s something wrong with Alex. SHE ISNā€™T SMILING!? *Gasp*

Maybe she's demagicked - if she isn't possessed, she should check if she can cast spells still. She has changed about the same time Noah (and then Gazz) said loudly she would be useful in fight. Maybe the ghosts took it to heart and neutralised her.

Yeah, but desperate people are FAR easier to read than calm ones...

Ask her, if she'd rather date a human or a robot!

You thought i was alez, but it was me, dio!

This must be the work of an enemy Stand!

Twist: Noah's been brainwashed to not see her spirit.

Telling her that you like robots too it's a good way to solve this.

Asking Alex to cast one of her own Free Magic spells is a good idea. If she can, that shows that she's being controlled rather than being replaced.
If she can't... it might be a good idea to beat up the shapeshifter right here.

Gazz: Lord and Master of Sneaks-Spy-Stuff! has successfully told the world what Noah's test-scores were.
Okay, I think I have it figured out; the [strikethrough]Enemy Stand's[/strikethrough] enemy's power is that of "illusion." Physical visual and audio can be manipulated, though they probably can't make stuff and people appear or disappear out of thin air without it being too obvious; much easier to imprint a different face and voice onto someone that already has physical presence. It also doesn't work on mana signatures at all. We also know that projecting your aura remotely is pretty unheard of. Therefore; the pink aura was coming from somebody, and now that somebody is "Alex." What better way to hide while taking mana sense into account (considering the paint scheme definitely has its weaknesses), than to disguise yourself as a bystander? They likely intentionally made their signature broad to obscure the source. Of course, the jig is up the moment they try to take the guise of someone who already has a mana signature of their own - at least in the presence of an expert sensor like Noah.

Alex, you are on trial for conspiracy against the town. What is your defense?
