The weird thing is, they hire an assasin? to take him out, after deciding he is likely a secret agent for their bosses. How dumb can you get? Thats about the most certain way to get into trouble with them.

She may be actually good for fighting Burk. If she is smart, and doesn't attack random people around, the Burk can hold his hand due to her disability or gender a bit and be disadvantaged.
