It's plot connection Guy!

So sick of this smug guy

So, this is our first major connection between two of the storylines, isn't it? Guy Juliet has played an important role in Noah's story and now appears in Burk's.

That transition was a bit awkward. Maybe because it sort of started last page, but I thought we had snapped back to where Pipper and Burk are and had done a time skip. Wasn't until I saw the title I figured it out.

Is that just me?

Having binged RWBY lately, I now hear our favorite Detective speak with the voice of Qrow.

I wonder if he kept Burk in mind. Probably not.

Is Guy the main villain?! Dun dun dun!!

"Blindly running into evidence" seems a bit more Edward Elric though.

@someone Guy has already been in Burk's storyline, actually. And I'd literally bet dollars to donuts that he has very close ties to at least one of the fractal factions in Tobi's storyline.

He is pretty smug, but I still like him.

Guy has been in Burk's story before. But yeah, he's the only major connection between two of the stories so far.

I wonder when he shows up in Tobi's?

Guy seems to be an agent/spy of the Empire, working in the subterfuge and subversion department (more implied that shown). But we know him to be a police detective, and these roles usually don't mix. I wonder if he was forced to do it, and if it was really Empire, or the Veda lady.

There's also "Joy" in Noah's city and "Smiley" in Lorg.
