Running away from magic users? I've seen this before, somewhere...

Does he still have these metal balls? He could use them as projectiles, I think. One good hit and an aricraft/magic power source is down.

@Saiko Burk's bag has been stolen by Aristoctat ~100 pages ago. That's why Burk tied up that massive Baron's painting to his back (as i assume)

Things are about to get troublesomer!

This in reference to a comment from yesterday's comic, but I imagine the pretty pillar sound effects (aka BZWOOOOOOORR for anyone that forgot) to sound something like the lasers from Sonic 3. It's a very satisfying and nostalgic laser sound.
Unrelated, it seems like her mobility is not as flexible as it seems. She didn't simply "float away from him" as she cast spells, so I'm assuming she can't do both at once.

So uh, how about that fire in the background that's likely going to get way out of control and torch the nearby city?
16183: Blorgahorg - Saturday, February 17 2018 - 10:44 AM
Newtons lesser known 4th Law of Physics: a Burk in flight will stay in flight unless He doesn't want to. Then He can change trajectories or something.

@Blorgahorg - Burk is clearly a master of rotational inertia, like a cat. By using SHEER MUSCLE to pull his various limbs closer to his body he can alter how fast he spins in any given direction, conveniently dodging or attacking things with spin moves and subtly altering speed by way of drag manipulation.

I don't think Piper actually dodged that, I think Burk's spinning dodges may have actually shortened his flight (or he was a bit short to begin with). A problem that would be unlikely to come up with true (or magic) flight.
So Burk might look like he is flying, but in the end he still isn't.

@Maiker
Burk recovered his backpack before they left the castle. I'm not sure if the contents are still intact, though.
