Oh yeah, these guys.
"The Magic Girl" in the title should be obvious - The Pirate Of The Storm - but I'm wondering who "The Muscled Madman" is. So far there was no one who would fit that description. The muscled men were not mad and the madmen were not very muscular.
Why is everyone's memories of Burk so much more pained and scared than what actually happened?
Ariara is in this page! Hooray! Granted, she's getting the shit beaten out of her, and it's a single panel flashback, but until we know whether she's dead or alive I'll take what I can get, dammit!
Just noticed that it is still the same vote incentive. For some reason I thought once we are away from Noah you would change it, since it were from characters belonging to Noah you would switch to characters belonging to Burk now. I guess that's not how it works.
BURK IS BAE
All Burk nees for his party is a swordsman and a robot.
Friendship by defeat, anyone?
His tooth! Burk's beautiful tooth!!!
He should drink some milk so his teeth would grow back.
Isn't the priority for Burk to find a dentist now?
Yeah! Take that, little girl!
hmmhmmm Little miss is a Little bit to fast on ditching Burk...i smell ulterio motives.
Watch out Little Diplomat.
Nooooo Noah don't go....*sniff*
Not sure if Burk is actually really smart or just happens to continuously have a high roll on making important thoughts...
What a diplomatic way to start a war between allies.
She's being mean to Burk! D=
Burk's fists are even more reliable than mage power. You can't disable them by removing a piece of jewellery or a baton, you know. But better not to say that loudly around this kid or her uncle...
Does the title of this chapter mean Piper Pol v.s. Burk???
@Leo it might have something to do with him being insanely strong
I think you mean: OH YEAH!! These guys ^_^
I have 2 questions right now that were brought up because of Burk.
one is, Will everybody we've seen so far join Burks group?
the second is, Why was Burk falling from the Sky in the first Place?
TOBI TOBI TOBI TOBI TOBI TOBI TOBI TOBI TOBI TOBI TOBI TOBI TOBI TOBI
@Card_Hoarder that second question is the oldest in the comic we must strive on and wait for answers.
Tobi was pretty recent, this is a three-sided story. Let the people who love Burk have their moment with Burk. Then Tobi will be back. This might even be a segment where two of the three sides come together soon. Or mayhaps not. I would like to see where this story goes, and delaying any one part of it slows the whole ever so slightly, and rushing any one part of it delays that one part far, far more. If it's all Burk until Noah and Tobi are met, then all Noah, then all Tobi....it doesn't really let a person have all three flavors of the story, and the setting is far less well explained.
In short: Whoo burk!
@Zet: I like to think of Burk as a guy who is simple and focused on his goal of being a true hero with exceptional skill to think outside the box. If Pablo or Pole need him to do something in their quest, he may make clumsy mistakes due to his awkward social wisdom but learn and surprise everyone because he is very perceptive.
Changing topic, I wonder how Toby's arc is connected. We know Noah was told about the Pirate of the Storm, but how does Toby fit in?
im with Host, the vote incentive is getting pretty old
Yay! Finally the interesting storyline!
@Fuz: Nope, sorry you just missed it,but if you go a few pages back you can read up on Noas intersting storyline :P
Ugh Burk, he's the worst.
I seem to recall him committing perfidy at the start of that fight. I also recall Ariara fighting a pair of monsters while Burke cowered in the shadows. And that Ariara fought multiple heavy hitters afore Burke's so called "victory". After which she got right up and started stealing the tower, with Burke helpless to stop her. Only Guy of Justopia's ingenuity was sufficient to thwart her plans. Burke's stooping so low, he's pinching other chaps' credit!
Ugh, Diplomat, stop messing around and just marry him already...
Oh yeah and Ariara would have killed Burke quite easily if the Diplomat hadn't shot her in the face with a bird(which is against the spirit of diplomacy if you ask me).
