Burk, you saw Midas gild a few people. It just seems like something you wouldn't forget.

@Jack: This is Burk we're talking about.

I'm pretty sure Burk shouldn't have a jacket in the 3rd panel!
Otherwise, he's rip as hell, love how you rendered his arm muscles~

Pablo may not know this, but there is a word for turning objects into gold. He should have said "aurified" instead of "petrified" (which means 'turned into stone'). But it's understandable, since diplomats probably are not trained in geology too much.

well, to be fair, the guy might have had his own magic, and/or been an "aura user", and thus be merely gilded, or *covered* in gold, s opposed to "aurified" and turned into gold outright. "petrified" can also refer to simply being unable to move.
petty semantics argument, WOO!

Burk's jacket has become a casualty of war.

Another applicable word would be Transmuted, which is taken from alchemy instead of geology.

Burk feels kin to a fellow exhibitionist

How awkward.

He heh, that's the proper avatar for the proper aristocrats! Sadly, I'm not a one, so I will probably still use a cat tied to a fan or something.
I like the animated aristocrat looks like he is just going to spit (at inferior peasants, no doubts).

I'm just surprised the table still has food on it.

I think the jacket is not the problem in the 3rd panel it is the prison sprite with prison pants included.
