So the majority of the characters seem to believe that the power is irreversible. Lets hope that's not the case...Poor exhibitionist guard :(

I wonder which isotope of gold is that, and how safe it is to stand close to these statues.

If my knowledge of magical gold-curses is correct, then this could either be fixed by the right hand of Midas over there or true love.
Possibly both.

Unfortunately, with what his partner says in panel 1, I doubt it's so easily reversed. If he could simply reverse it with his other hand, he wouldn't be worried about "accidentally killing".
Also, note he said "another" person. I wonder who was the first person he gilded that was "needed"?

Oh crap, the plot thickens :O
I can now see why they used fire to block Midas's cell: he can't turn fire into gold, clearly.

Well, I was wrong. It'd seem ol' Midas has the traditional curse, not an on command power.
Also, I like the orange haired prisoner. He seems nice.

@Saiko: Well they /do/ shine with all these points, so clearly they give off some energy.
@Neoriceisgood: typo on 'progress' in panel 6

Observing his debut that a commentator from the previous page kindly provided, it seems his silhouette had red hair with some spike action?
Way to keep people guessing, neo, haha.

@Zed
That silhouette was based on a really, really old sprite with a kinda vague ill-defined haircut and stuff.
It's kinda similar to how Professor Null's haircut changed a lot.
