Yeah, I figured it was the combination of the weight of the statue and Foxy's strength that kept him pinned down... Still, he's making it sound like he's not planning on continuing this particular fight... doesn't mean I'm all too happy to learn Foxy is probably going to kick it due to black water poisoning though...

So how does seeing the future work? Is there a way to prevent that future if you're aware of it?

Bindy said that knowing gives a chance to change the outcome. Let's wait and see...

Absolutely not. That’s the problem with seeing the future, if you try to stop it from happening that’s how it happens. It’s an amazing trick that fools 99 out of a hundred people. Once you become aware of the future you must NOT try to stop it from happening.

Tom it seems to be one of the rules of magic and curses that the more you observe the more control you have over it. They spread knowledge of the Smile prophecy and essentially stalled it, I'm thinking since Foxy can use her knowledge to alter things within outcomes of her visions, that her visions are essentially set in stone, but only if they go correctly. Bindy's bandana being removed stalls that outcome, but something similar might still happen, Foxy just isn't privy to what that is until she has other visions.

@Tom: In theory, yes. If free will is true then she just has to avoid the room that she will die in. If the prediction is based on conditions at the time it is seen then any change to conditions could also change the future.

Of course the change may be superficial. Instead of dying in one room you die in a different room because what was going to kill you in the first room comes after you when you won't go in.
