I worry that Bindi was trying to say something important about being careful with that bandana. Infinite could have had some enchantments on there for all we know.

This is a poor idea, assuming that the bandana is the reason for the violence set upon them.

And to be fair in this crazy world, it COULD BE, but more reasonably, changing clothing won't stop the root of what killed them, which could be a player, a monster, or traps for all they know.

If I’m not mistaken, all this prevents is the specific future where they both die and Bindy is wearing the bandanna. It doesn’t exactly prevent a future where they die and Bindy has no bandana? I think in the case of the politician it might have been different, as his clothing and presentation are important parts of his job.

While it might not stop the root cause, it renders the prophetic vision invalid. So now their future is simply open and unknown again.
