I forget: what faction/country does the Paladin belong to? There's so much in this comic, I sometimes forget some of the finer details.
Lord Infinite may be a prick, but he knows what's up.

That was implied.

@Bailoroc Presumably she works for The Global Order (Nothing to do with gloves though.), the recently-formed country created by Emporio Garrimon, "The man who betrayed the world", 3rd most wanted criminal. The GO so far seems like the police of Lorg presumably, again, because they include Lorg in their domain, Nero is their representative there, but the city still goes its way.
This makes Math Gang their natural enemies.
In the game, Mr. Green we guess is a GO member (via process of elimination on the symbols shown in the panel Three, Maria and Yellow saw), as well as Paladin. Mathausen is a police officer, we don't really know where from, but by virtue of being on the side of the law-enforcement he's likely to be sympathetic with Paladin.
We don't really know what's behind the GO, just the dolls and flesh-magic coming from their science division and them trying to make Lorg less of a lawless hell.

Is she worried for all participants as a whole, or rather that she is not so untouchable as she thought?

@Bailoroc
Paladins are anti-magic unit of Global — the ones on an active campaign to "free the world from magic users"
23566: Brilliand - Thursday, October 1 2020 - 1:47 AM
@Bailoroc The Paladin is an agent of the Global Order (which is also the government that created Three).

Also, from the start of chapter 42 we know there are 3 Global Order players but we don't know who is the third one yet. http://neorice.com/hoh_tobi_1155

Hm... not magic, more inhuman physical strength than a beastman... clearly, the culprit is chained-up-Smile-mask-dude, who is secretly Burk!

On an only some what related note. There were supposed to be three members of the GO in this game, the Paladin and we assume Mr Green and then I was assuming the cop. But now I'm wondering if Smile knows a little something about Three and was considering Three to be the third member of the GO. And the cop is just local Lorg PD and not really officially a member of the GO.

@Zyzyzyryxy I think it is a little of the first and a lot of the second.

@aceofmuffins
I thought the GO players where Green, Blue (Shalhia) and Three (Grey?), though I admit, when I reread I usually skip that part of the story, for whatever reason, so I forgot the details.
Probably Three doesn't "work" for the GO and there's some other player we don't know about.
