A brutal disposal.

Curious.

btw, daily updates will continue until page 700; after that we'll be going back to the regular schedule for a bit.

Hey, that dude. I remember him. I suppose that means Veda killed him, which is no surprise. He seemed like a bad dude, but then again, Veda seems pretty evil which makes him relatively a good guy.

Also, darn. I was really getting used to my daily HoH. Ah well, all good things must come to an end, as they say.

10291: CatHairPillAir - Friday, August 26 2016 - 1:54 AM

Maybe he died from something else. I mean it's not nice to assume Veda killed him without getting sufficient proof...

10292: whitemanPT - Friday, August 26 2016 - 4:03 AM

if Veda is half as important as she looks chanses are she will have at least one royal guard witch means she prob didnt get rid of him herself.

10293: Tom - Friday, August 26 2016 - 4:52 AM

All good things must end, that is the nature of life.

Hype for Guy Juliet, my favorite detective :D

10294: Katz - Friday, August 26 2016 - 4:55 AM

Who those who don't remember, it's the guy from: http://www.neorice.com/hoh_547
Though, since there's always a Royal Guard watching Noah, perhaps a Royal Guard killed him, since Noah had just left. I doubt Veda would do anything to get her own hands dirty.

10295: verycoolname - Friday, August 26 2016 - 7:49 AM

@Katz- If Veda had a guard they would have cleaned it up a bit more professionally...
The fact that there was a mess and the police found out about it means that there was no cover up.
At the very least there would have been some excuse to prevent Guy from running around asking questions.

10296: Reginald - Friday, August 26 2016 - 8:21 AM

Man, Guy Juliet rides in style. I also noticed that he has a new outfit; his traditional detective's trenchcoat wouldn't be formal enough for a fancy meeting. I guess he likes to dress in style, too; being a famous detective must pay in spades.

I love Juliet's car :) http://neorice.com/hoh_burk_526

Nice car, mister police man! ;)

Maybe Noah should stop talking loudly to Ciel in public as it might be suspicious for the people around him. XD

Well... He tried to kill Veda in the first place, maybe she overreacted in self defence... XD

Aww... I will miss the daily update. But it was and still is a fun time! Thanks a lot for this enjoyable comic! :)

@all

There'll obviously still be bonus update events in the future, though they'll be based on vote ranking and the usual.

10301: Katz - Friday, August 26 2016 - 11:40 AM

@verycoolname True, true. But if it had happened right outside Veda's house, where he threatened her, then wouldn't Veda would be a huge suspect?

10302: Jack Morgan - Friday, August 26 2016 - 1:06 PM

@Verycoolname
I think you're underestimating how smart Veda is. I assume she disabled or killed him there and killed/dumped his body off somewhere else.

I'm sure she's able to get around any royal guards that might be keeping an eye on her, as well.

10303: John - Friday, August 26 2016 - 1:10 PM

And that, kids, is why you don't say racist thing to magic emos and government officials that have green hair.

10305: datcomment - Friday, August 26 2016 - 4:00 PM

woot

10307: Saiko - Friday, August 26 2016 - 4:40 PM

Note to future self: shoot first, make corny political statement later.

As for today's strip, I'm pretty sure the detective is giving Noah a ride for a reason.

10308: Bisected - Friday, August 26 2016 - 11:24 PM

Hmm, why make a murder out of a self defence case...

10309: Goblin Scribe - Saturday, August 27 2016 - 1:01 AM

He drew a gun on Veda. She pretty much had to do something. :P

I kinda wonder if part of the reason Ciel has a personality and goals of her own, and isn't just an unthinking manual, is that Noah is just kind of lonely. Ciel is a magical entity that matches its host's inner needs. I wonder if she's around because, deep down (or maybe not that deep), Noah needed someone to talk to.
