The eye is stabbed, the city-wide nightmare is dispelled, the guardsman successfully identified the weak-point to hit for massive damage.
The date is forever immortalised as Guard-day in Haven.
In the good timeline, anyway.

It has been pointed out in the previous Page that the lightning is good, but this is even better. I looked and was instantly thinking of nothing else for several minutes, I was completely consumed by the whole feeling this gives of.
A shame that it is impossible to increase the comic to fullscreen on the computer, that would improve the atmosphere even more.

Why didn't they bring the slightly competent guards instead of those fools?
28527: Taorin - Saturday, November 6 2021 - 1:59 AM
@Tom
Probably don't want to waste the slightly competent ones on a near certain suicide mission.
28528: Some guy - Saturday, November 6 2021 - 3:39 AM
@Tom
Because they aren't there to provide security. They're there to provide distraction.

In other words, they're redshirts. Or redeyes in their case.

This is awesome
And the guards are funny. Makes sense, what else are you gonna do ? Poke or stab the thing !

A sprite comic has no business having lighting (and art in general) as good as this. How dare you! (seriously though, awesome work)

Yeah, this really is absurdly good lighting.
28534: UnknownID - Saturday, November 6 2021 - 11:49 AM
