@Zed I don't think so, gold could prevent spirit Noah from going through it but it doesn't actually make people lose their magic.

Okay, Nail just went up a fair bit on my trusted list. He was… not helpful during the elf attack, but the man actually has a plan here that’s using the characters to their strengths. That’s good for pretty much everybody.
@nullum I presume Ciel’s lack of a true shape would mean she could sneak through a gap and control his body enough to open a gap for Noah to return. A better question might be what happens if someone’s using spirit sight and mister lipstick from Burk’s arc showed up and turned their body to gold.
… I suppose it’s too much to hope that’s what happened to the Mage Baron.
