Countdown till Meow-Time.

I doubt Noah will die, he is technically the protagonist.

Alright! Battle is starting and Noah is already floored.

Everything is in its correct place and ready

24722: Whispers of Sorrow - Friday, February 26 2021 - 12:15 AM

I'm pretty sure it's Ciel who knows.

Windows 'Noah' Radar... do they hand out medals for incompetence in the empire? Is *that* your deal? Can't run, won't fight, never hides... is there anything he *does* do aside from steal Ciel's credit and be unpleasant to her and others?

I'm kind of hoping the cat mage grabs our abrasive protagonist and menaces him with a knife, with any luck that'd get him using his power to avoid death.

When this is all over and everyone is getting training to use their magic properly Noah will instead be getting a crash course on how to use his legs properly. I mean really now, he tripped just by turning around, he took maybe one step.

24724: King Jekera - Friday, February 26 2021 - 2:12 AM

Well i'm not Noah's number one fan by any means but honestly his growth has been realistic and constant. So I for one think that Noah will become more aware of the need to be more competent at physical feats in time. However, I don't know how much Noah's ability is Ciel or if Ciel is merely a personification of the things that Noah senses so I guess Ciel might have some form of personal power but unlikely.

24725: Aston Whiteman - Friday, February 26 2021 - 2:19 AM

Pretty sure Noah gets ignored due to his spirit hiding ability.

By the power of awkward social laziness..

24726: Brilliand - Friday, February 26 2021 - 2:29 AM

Jamal, put up your shield... why haven't you already done that?

24727: tracer - Friday, February 26 2021 - 2:46 AM

Can they at least step aside? Into those open door frames in the background?

24728: Noah... - Friday, February 26 2021 - 4:27 AM

...sucks. Can we move on?

24729: noname - Friday, February 26 2021 - 4:51 AM

We're going to cut away to someone else any page now, aren't we?

24730: Anonymous Person - Friday, February 26 2021 - 5:54 AM

I actually like Noah, and even I'm disappointed in how poorly he's doing. There's minmaxing and there's this.

24731: Luminous Lead - Friday, February 26 2021 - 8:14 AM

Windows keeps crashing.

24733: Agent_Cook - Friday, February 26 2021 - 8:41 AM

Usually i am against plot armor. However, i've never seen a character whose only defense in life was plot armor, so i'll let this one slide :P

24734: Seb - Friday, February 26 2021 - 9:24 AM

Being a danger to himself in physical activities was not exaggerated

24735: Violet - Friday, February 26 2021 - 9:55 AM

I'm impressed that he knew how much time was left on the fly.

24737: Paintr - Friday, February 26 2021 - 1:36 PM

Think about it this way. If Noah ever manages to reach into the well of baddassery it will be far more impressive given the panel we are seeing right now.

24738: Brilliand - Friday, February 26 2021 - 1:53 PM

@noname Definitely not right after this page, at least. With luck we'll cut away right after the upcoming fight completes, like we did with that fight where Gaston went berserk.

24739: Guest - Friday, February 26 2021 - 4:30 PM

Jamal's face as he begins to truly understand who he is relying upon, and maybe, just maybe, will come to understand just how much of a mess this whole "magical soldiers of youth" project is.

24740: Taran Alvein - Friday, February 26 2021 - 9:24 PM

Is somebody stealth-tripping Noah? I feel like he's tripping way too often. It's like he's a helpless damsel in a horror movie.

24741: recneps - Saturday, February 27 2021 - 1:15 AM

I'm guessing he really didn't, hence him initially saying "I don't know." Ciel probably interrupted to tell him, and it's just not shown this time, since we're seeing the perspective of everyone besides Noah.

24751: Paintr - Saturday, February 27 2021 - 7:00 PM

@Taran Alvein
I don't see any reason why Ciel couldn't be doing that hypothetically. But even if not, Noah really isn't steeled for all the trauma he's going through. Wouldn't be surprised if we see a moment of weakness sometime in the future where his apathy takes damage.
