Gazz becomes even more anime.

Nothing personnel, kid.

Noah's the backpack

And somehow I managed to overestimate Gazz: You'd think, after sneering at Noah and sending him off "to be useful", he'd do more than just stand there gurning. Buuuut nope.
Yes, there was always a strong chance she had a dangerous power, but that's no excuse for his inaction, if anything, it makes him look worse.
Noah was attacked alone, because of Gazz.
19576: Whispers of Disappointment - Saturday, April 6 2019 - 7:43 AM
I expected Noah of all people would be able to prevent a power based on paying attention to someone, but I guess they’re all distractable kids aren’t they...
19577: Whispers of Vengeance - Saturday, April 6 2019 - 7:47 AM
Jamel is way too foolhardy to have survived this long. Dzjammeel can shoot those spikes faster than anyone can move, and yet Jamel still chooses Capoeira, a momentum-based fighting style, which is easily countered by fast attacks.
19578: Gold - Saturday, April 6 2019 - 8:55 AM
As someone whose done martial arts quite a bit, I cant quite understand what Jamel is doing, how hes doing it, and why its working.

@Gold
Emulating actual fighting styles with tiny chibi sprites and their wonky proportions isn't exactly ideal, so it's probably best not to read into it toooo much. ;p
19582: Whispers of Deserted Gears - Saturday, April 6 2019 - 1:18 PM
I can't believe gazz did not realize Noah is a tiny baby who cannot be expected to take responsibility for himself and let him stand back from battle in a place that up until this moment was safe. What a terrible human being he is. #impeach gazz 2019

I imagine Jamel's fighting style as similar to Woody's from Little Fighter 2. He had that whole upside down kicks shtick. What Jamel is doing reminds me of that spinning multi-kick attack Woody performed by pressing defence+down+attack.
Yeah, I know it's unlikely anyone will know what I'm talking about at all.

@WoD/WoV/WoDG:
If her power can be countered by observation (which is not a given), then yes, Noah would be ideal. He doesn't have eyes on the back if his head however, having been sent away, by Gazz.
As for DJ's spikes, you mean the spikes that have shut down hard by a certain someone's time related powers? Those spikes?
Gazz's failings, in this incident, are that he split the party, needlessly granting the bluenette a chance to dispose of them piecemeal and that he didn't even try to stop the bluenette from launching her strike. That was his job. Keeping the blue girl tied down while DJ was disposed of.
A WILD NOAH HAS APPEARED!
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.
Of Noah.
Good job Noah! Many people go years without ever becoming their own onomatopoeia.
Jamal is legit good at capoeira.
Noah shows about as much reaction as is to be expected.
Noah can fly! Truly he has the most versatile magic powers!
welcome back Noah!
I wonder if she has a friend with time control powers.
So, some kind of power related to being looked at?
That moment when Noah knew he would probably regret, I guess
<—To be continued—
Hmmm. I'm guessing superspeed, or actual teleportation.
Or maybe she can mark someone and move freely outside their vision?
What do you think?
So she's a Weeping Angel?
...what is her name, anyway?
Noah!? is now my favorite sound effect.
