to be fair, Tobi takes the time to think about *how* to do a thing. Burk encroaches on that Zen-like state of pure reflex reaction where the thought is simultaneous with the ass-kicking.

Presumably, it is *now* by Veda's Virtue that he doesn't die... But it was her fault (or Null's, or one of her other allies) that he realized he has powers in the first place.

I like that Noah started to think like a detective, but I miss his watson, Hevel. Sadly, he can't be in this reality (because they are not long-time friends).
