Oh hey, it's those two!
That's probably not a good thing.
Does the golden guy carry a coffin? How considerate.
I think your right neo, mr gold guys power completely counters burks because burk is completely physical.
first name Party second name Pooper, party pooper who goes and stops a good fight.
Ah well then
this rapidly escalated
go go iron judge ???
Maybe when you bring back characters from many pages ago, put in the description the page number where they were last seen?
I often find myself browsing back a lot, which is frustrating... This time it turned out to be on page 757, posted over half a year ago!
Also, posting these links to previous pages might make it easier for new readers to get into the story :)
If Goldie touches Burk, it's all over.
On discord, we're putting together a google sheet with all the characters.
Pfft, Burk's already pure gold.
How does he know she is "Madam of the storm"?
By this point I doubt there's anyone in the castle who doesn't know the Pirate of the Storm has taken over.
Goldie's powers are a mystery!
If he's prone to Ariara's powers, she might start wielding him like just another flying weapon.
Dunno, though - the point about the General's sword disrupting magic due to its gold inlay might mean trouble for Ariara!
Then maybe he IS anti-magic!
I really hate the orange bearded guy. He just annoys me with the way he talks and acts.
@Storm: His attacks don't go though Araria's spirit, so I doubt he is COMPREHENSIVELY anti-magic but I wouldn't be surprised if he has something up his sleeves.
Burk is very good at dodging, meaning goldie won't be able to touch him, or turn him into gold. Note too that if goldie has to touch to cause gold, Burk can hammer him.
I just noticed that Burk's backpack comes and goesfrom panel to panel.
@verycoolname I was just being silly, since gold seems to have anti-magic properties and Burk's made of gold. ;-)
More seriously, while Burk and Tobi are strong enough to face magic-enhanced fighters, there doesn't seem to be any need for them to either be magical or anti-magic themselves. That said, high-level characters tend to have pretty good resistance to magic and negative status effects, so Burk might be able to resist stuff like Goldie's touch.
Just funny to joke about Burk being a golden boy with a golden personality and thus immune to magic.
@Storm: I may have been answering your joke, but I was really directing those justifications towards myself...
I am very conflicted between wanting Burk to have something like anti-magic and wanting him to have no powers other than his rogue-ish good looks.
And to add good stuff, Burk is both VERY polite in not hitting while the two interrupt AND *just completely unphazed* by the two.
I seriously hope that Burk and Aristocrat go on a PUNCH FRENZY and steamroll everyone in the room (with the obvious exceptions of Ariara, the Judge and Pablo)
