*slow applause* This is so amazing.
Also, I'm using this as evidence that Burk would make an amazingly evil villain. The casual cruelty that both manipulates the situation in his favor and sets the tone for the negotiations is so masterful. This is an amazing piece of writing.

That's how you treat lawyers in an ideal world.

Very clever, Burk.
I'm also amazed that Ariara actually LIKED that. Here I expected her to kill him on the spot.
Ariara's laugh never ceases to disturb me.

SHE LOOKS SO CUTE WHEN SHE'S ENJOYING SOMETHING!!!
and is there a range on how far a metal that is possessed by Ariara has to move before it breaks her possession?
12610: Saiko - Monday, May 8 2017 - 4:01 PM
She reminds me greatly another, well known psychopath from our world. Except Ariara is not blonde.

Man Ariana has really grown on me over the last few pages. At first I expected her to be a one-time throwaway villain, but now I really hope she isn't. I wonder what she's doing in the lighthouse... There's no way she makes the whole castle/building into a floating ship right?
12612: Burklar - Monday, May 8 2017 - 4:23 PM
When did Burk suddenly become so clever? D:
@Scarred Warble
He just lost his cape.
12613: verycoolname - Monday, May 8 2017 - 5:22 PM
@Scarred Wrable: Judge didn't get a costume change, Araria nicked his cape.
12614: David Argall - Monday, May 8 2017 - 10:48 PM
Burk's plan? may be working. He has moved the iron judge out of easy sight, thereby making it easier to rescue him.
Of course, we have to expect something to go wrong...

I would guess the "fi" sound is some sort of muffled laugh from Ariara

We've finally learnt Burk's name!
Burk's plan is brilliant
Actually, I would just stop at "pretty".
Also, what is that "fi" sound?
