If Burk ever encounters someone that can be a threat to him, then that person must be a killing machine.
I suppose if you have a maxed out evade/dodge ability, plus maybe an epic level or two, then you just grow this special kind of attitude. You simply don't give a rat's piss about anything, unless it's your own choice to care.
