This means that, unlike his Mage and Cool Guy, two people he just picked up along the way, Burk already has a certain person in mind for the position of Girl on his team... With the way this story has been playing out, I don't actually expect Girl and Robot to be Tobi and Three any longer, so I'm honestly quite hooked in regards to who they're going to turn out to be.

To be fair, a step forward to be more open-minded, establishment-defying path about Burk's plan is to accept that people with different roles compared to the expected may join the party, right?

Given the way Pablo and Evyle were assigned their roles (their outfits and behaviour), I don't see how we can conclude that Burk has a certain person in mind for the girl role - only that Guy neither behaves nor wears the kind of outfit that Burk thinks the girl in his team would, whomever it turns out to be, and hence Guy can't be the girl.
