While the evidence that Burk swings a certain way is mounting, then i dont think we have any evidence he is asexual yet. Might as well just be he want to get to know someone a bit before thinking about anything else.
Once more it should also be noted its Evyle who confirms Burk is an Esper, not Burk himself. Even if Evyle is one of the people best suited to know.

While Burk IS an esper, I wouldn't say it's how he fights. Spirit manipulation doesn't give you the superb strength and reflexes he exibited (or at least we know he wasn't using spirits for that). He is truly fighting like only a Burk could.

Could be that he's part some sort of experiment thing combining an esper with the fight training of the empire's guard. They move quick like he does as well and he seems to have trained from birth like them, though he's clearly stronger than they appear.
