Sparkling.

queue theories about what the muscle sparkles mean.

a greased up otter ? that's a strange analogy

37880: random - Friday, July 14 2023 - 1:02 AM

Yes, he looks ripped, but he is also skipping leg day. Well, I know he is super-fast, and kicks harder than a horse of the apocalypse, but still, those legs are in the dire need of some tonal definition.

Burk oils his skin like the Ancient Greeks did when they were showing off?

37882: baron - Friday, July 14 2023 - 2:13 AM

Burk is greased, clean, ripped and thriving in his lane

37883: MaZe - Friday, July 14 2023 - 2:50 AM

Otters, the apex predator of their ecosystem

Perhaps our particle producing potency portends that our protagonist is preparing to pummel the poor pinhead so powerfully, he expels the possessing poltergeist from the impotent peon and protects the pumpernickel and pastries from protracted peril.

37885: Strannik - Friday, July 14 2023 - 5:13 AM

@doughboy; man, that's some nice aliterations there !

37886: Vgr - Friday, July 14 2023 - 5:34 AM

Atoms get excited being around Burk awesomeness. As we know from physics that results in light being emitted. The universe itself is a Burk fan.

37887: Aston Whiteman - Friday, July 14 2023 - 5:59 AM

Muscle sparkles equals Burke hotness.

37888: MottTheBarber - Friday, July 14 2023 - 6:17 AM

@Doughboy Please proceed...

Burk is long lost brother of Edward Cullen?...

37891: Melany - Friday, July 14 2023 - 8:44 AM

The sparkles is Burk subtly casting a cantrip to repel dust off his skin. It's the sort of things he needs to do if he wants to remain clean and ripped after walking through the aftermath of all the powers thrown at him.

37892: Paintr - Friday, July 14 2023 - 8:53 AM

Burk's sparkles are a sign of him charging up his Burk to unleash stronger Burkniques.

37893: Tom - Friday, July 14 2023 - 8:55 AM

Come to think of it, Burk also has the stamina of a god.

37894: Zed - Friday, July 14 2023 - 9:41 AM

@Mystik

Those sparkles are different, and a clear negation of spirit. You can see the same thing when Goldman shoots his bullets at Burk, Winn's magic wave hitting Burk, or a number of the instances where Noel disables magic (not all of them, but a lot of them have a similar effect).

37895: tailiu - Friday, July 14 2023 - 10:16 AM

@ Mystik: Thanks for the link! Looks like that stopped a magic punch… Maybe it is an anti-magic manifestation.

37896: Doughboy - Friday, July 14 2023 - 2:21 PM

@ MottTheBarber: perfectly parlayed... Patron posts previous particles' presence; predicts possible power prevention.

37897: Grim Portent - Friday, July 14 2023 - 2:39 PM

The sparkles are like the ones you get from a classic hero's smile, this tells us that Burk is in fact made of teeth.

37898: TaranAlvein - Friday, July 14 2023 - 4:37 PM

Iiinteresting. That's just one of those details that I've never noticed before. Normally, I would assume that they're just hyperbole, a visual metaphor. But they clearly mean something, given the times we've seen them before.

37899: Sporf - Friday, July 14 2023 - 5:13 PM

Uh-oh. Burk's weakness. Admiration of his abilities.

37901: yay - Friday, July 14 2023 - 11:52 PM

Well, thats a stall page if i ever seen one.
