How is Vonesperda actually pronunced?

My knowledge of German and Spanish wants me to call her Von Esperda the whole time.

Esperda is the act of waiting, or anticipation according to google.
Von is of or from.
So if you combine the German and Spanish meaning her name means From waiting or Of anticipation.
Or maybe, The result of planning. Which would be fitting for such a long term planner.

I was wondering about her name too.
As a Portuguese speaker I force myself to read the word "esper" in the middle, like von'ESper-da because if I read according to Portuguese rules it sounds a bit funny.

I'm kind of hoping it's a meaninful name!

And I still think Burk is different , maybe Burk-o-Vision is a modified version of the sight.

@TheMegax: tobi can see spirits and isn't an esper. We know Burk has abilities that resemble esper abilities, but they might be something different or have a different origin.

Vonney probably wouldn't be mentioning the sight if regular people could see her; since Burk is responding at all, he does have some form of spirit sight. Whether it's esper-sight or some other method unique to him, though...

Von is "of" or "from" in the sense of "related to/originating in". So it would be more "of Wait" or "from Anticipation, Florida".

Use in names is actually a relic from when there were still German nobles, as it was one of the lowest titles you could have and generally non-heritable (equivalent to the British 'Sir'). Consequently, there's thousands of "von X" nowadays.
